The Richmond Hill Bryan County Chamber of Commerce presents Holly Days on the Hill which runs from Small Business Saturday – Nov. 24th (always the Saturday after Thanksgiving) through Bring One for the Chipper, Jan. 5th.

Holly Days on the Hill is a compilation of events and activities in Richmond Hill, beginning with Small Business Saturday, Nov. 24th and concluding with Bring One for the Chipper on Jan. 5th which is the City of Richmond Hill’s Christmas tree recycling program and a myriad of other holiday-related activities – like the Chili Cook-Off, Christmas Parade, Pictures with Santa and much more! Business of the Year Award Criteria:

Active business located or operating Bryan County

Member in good standing with the RHBC Chamber of Commerce

In business for a minimum of three (3) years
Demonstrated one or more of the following characteristics:

1.     Exceptional growth through additional creation of jobs

2.     Revenue growth

3.     Innovative products or services

4.     Provides exemplary customer service

5.     Volunteers in our community

6.     Demonstrates economic support of Richmond Hill/Bryan County area business community

 

Ambassador of the Year Award

The mission of The Chamber’s Ambassador Team is to serve as goodwill representatives for The Chamber by welcoming new members at various Chamber events, member functions, ribbon cuttings, and grand openings. In addition, team members welcome new members, call on members for retention purposes, and encourage participation in Chamber activities.

DeVaul Henderson Community Service Award

*Periodically, the DeVaul Henderson Community Service Award is given to a civic-minded person who has made a positive impact on Richmond Hill/Bryan County. It is named for the late DeVaul Henderson, who was known for his commitment and contributions to the community. The award is not given every year, but is reserved for a nominee everyone deems worthy.

Recipient must be an RHBC Chamber member with county-wide and state involvement with a positive attitude and innovative ideas. Service/contributions should be on a broad scale. Recipient should be a team player of the highest integrity. He or she should be passionate leader that is, reliable, trust worthy, sincere and selfless.
