Objective/Mission
Diagnose and repair defects in any roofing system with zero-defects and assure all customer needs are efficiently and effectively addressed.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Adhere to the RPI Creed.
1. Safety First
2. Be prompt – early is preferred
3. Keep a clean job site
4. Maintain all tools and equipment
5. Respect yourself, co-workers, and customers
6. Take pride in all work
7. DO RIGHT (Coach Erk Russell, Georgia Southern University)
• Manage service truck cleanliness and ensure it is always fully stocked with necessary supplies.
• Ensure time is accurately recorded each day for each job performed.
• Complete work orders/projects, as assigned by the Service Technician, including photos, thorough description of work completed, list all materials and quantities used, and provide any notes for proper billing and use for additional service calls at location.
• Provide service recommendations to customers based on roof condition. Forward upsell information to Service Manager.
• Ensure clean worksite.
• Adhere to company processes and procedures.
• Provide service recommendations to customers based on roof condition. Forward upsell information to Service Manager.
• Complete OSHA 10 Certification.
• Any other duties deemed necessary.
Skills/Experience Requirements
• Experience in roofing/trades/construction.
• Good understanding of and ability to identify roofing materials.
• Perform basic installation and other functions with minimal supervision.
• Own good quality hand tools and experience utilizing them.
• Effective verbal/written communication skills.
• Work at heights on flat and inclined surfaces year-round in Coastal weather.
• Climb ladders and set up work requirements in a safe manner.
• Lift material, tools, and equipment constantly throughout the day to complete the job.

Other duties would include identifying electrical hazardous aspects located in homes, identifying non-UL equipment, and code violations while offering solutions to the client for repairs/replacement.
