August Business After Hours - August 16
The Richmond Hill/ Bryan County Chamber of Commerce announces its next Business After Hours: Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 5:30-7 p.m. hosted by Advent Therapy, 10144 Ford Ave., in Ford Plaza. The Business After Hours will coincide with Advent Therapy's third-year anniversary celebration.Chamber members and guests are invited to enjoy an evening of networking, food and refreshments. There will be great door prizes, a chance at the Chamber’s 50/50 cash drawing. Business professionals that are interested in joining the Chamber or learning more about the Chamber are also welcome. Another Debut Ribbon Cutting Ceremony - August 1
Please join the Richmond Hill/ Bryan County Chamber of Commerce, Richmond Hill City Council members and other special guests for the First Anniversary Celebration of Another Debut with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Wednesday, August 1 at 10:30 a.m. Another Debut is located at 10471 Ford Ave., suite A, in the All Things Chocolate Shopping Center.
The event will feature all-day give-aways for gift certificates, special discounts and a few surprises, according Amy Clark, new owner since August of 2017. Light refreshments will be provided following the ribbon cutting ceremony.
August Lunch and Learn - August 15
The RHBC Chamber Lunch & Learn will be Wednesday, August 15 from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. Topic:The topic will be: Dangers of Opioid and Prescription Drug Misuse and How it Affects Business. Mary Fuller, project coordinator for the Bryan County Opioid Prevention Project will facilitate. The event is complimentary to RHBC Chamber members and invited guests. Cost for non-members is $15. Leadership Bryan Alumni Association Luncheon - August 28
The RHBC Chamber's Leadership Bryan Alumni Association (LBAA) next meeting will be Tuesday, August 28 at 12 noon at Bubba's Bistro. Graduates of the Chamber's Leadership Bryan Program and are members in good standing of the Chamber. Lunch is on your own, but RSVP's are required by Friday, August 24 by calling 912-756-3444 or e-mail info(at)RHBCchamber.org. Please note there are no June or July meetings for LBAA.
