Leadership Bryan Class of 2022
Founded in 2002, by the Richmond Hill Bryan County Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Bryan is designed to bring together a diverse group of potential leaders and provide a forum for a shared viewpoint on the needs of Bryan County. Our mission is to develop a new generation of leadership to enhance the future of Bryan County. Leadership Bryan is an every-other-year program.
The program consists of six full-day classes. Classes focus on Leadership, Communications/Team Building, History, and Government, Economic Development, Education, and Environment.
Up to twenty participants will be accepted for the class of Leadership Bryan. The selection committee will review the applications and select the participants based on criteria which will ensure a wide representation of the community. Notification of acceptance will be emailed to nominees.
Leadership Bryan is funded by contributions from area businesses and by a fee of $650 per Chamber member participant/$850 per Non-Chamber member participant. The fee includes expenses related to the program, including overnight accommodations (if any), meals, and class materials. Scholarships may be available by written request.
To graduate from Leadership Bryan, attendance at the retreats and issue sessions is MANDATORY. Only one excused absence is allowed. The second absence, for any reason, will result in the participant being dropped from the class. There will be no refunds.
Participants in Leadership Bryan must have the support and commitment of their Employer. IT IS NECESSARY THAT WE HAVE THE SIGNATURE OF THE MANAGER OF YOUR PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT AS AN INDICATION OF SUPPORT OF YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM DUE TO WEEKDAY CLASSES. (This is not a commitment to financial support but to the time required to participate in the program)
